A folder that follows you, and a way to send it on.
Hazelwing keeps a folder in step across your machines, and lets you send files to anyone by email — no account needed on their end. It is run by one person for a handful of people, not by a company with a growth plan.
How it works
Step 1
Ask for an invite
Leave your address below. Access is handed out by a person, not by a signup form, so there is no plan to pick and nothing to cancel.
Step 2
Sign in by magic link
You get a link by email and you are in. There are no passwords, so there is no password of yours for this server to lose.
Step 3
Install the app, or don't
The desktop app syncs a folder in the background. If you only want to upload and send, the browser client does that with nothing installed.
What it does
Sync
Keep a folder the same on every machine you sign in from. Share a folder with someone and they get their own copy of it.
Browser
Browse, upload and download from any machine, including one you cannot install software on. It installs as an app if you want it to.
Transfers
Send files to an email address. The link expires, can carry a PIN, and you can revoke it after you have sent it.
Where your files live
On Cloudflare, in one bucket belonging to the person who runs this. Nothing is resold, mined or copied to a second provider — there is no other place for your files to be.
No analytics, no third-party scripts, and no cookies until you sign in. This page runs no JavaScript at all.
Access is invite-only
This instance is not open for signup, and one person runs it. Leave your address and you go on the waiting list; when there is room you get an invite and can sign in. There is no confirmation mail — an invite is a person deciding to send one.
Your address is stored so we can send you an invite, and for nothing else.
The desktop app
The sync client runs on macOS, Windows and Linux. It needs an account on this server, so the download comes with your invite — there is nothing to install until you have one.
